Product Overview
All solid-state W-band cloud profiler operates in the W-band with a center frequency of 94 GHz and an antenna aperture of 0.5 m. It features a fully solid-state, fully coherent Doppler system with pulse compression, and operates in a zenith vertical fixed-scan mode. The maximum detection range exceeds 15 km, with quantitative measurements available up to over 10 km. The system offers a sensitivity range of –60 to +20 dBZ and achieves a resolution of 15 m in height and 1 minute in time.
It measures and outputs primary products including radar reflectivity (Z), vertical velocity (V), and spectral width (W) of cloud echoes, and derives secondary products such as cloud top height, cloud base height, cloud thickness, and cloud amount.
The system supports continuous 24-hour all-weather operation, is easy to install and operate, highly stable and reliable, capable of unattended operation, and equipped with networking capability.
