Product Overview

Wind lidar operates based on the principle of optical pulse coherent Doppler frequency shift detection. Equipped with a high-precision optical scanning mirror, it enables three-dimensional scanning of atmospheric wind fields, with a maximum detection range of 6–10 km.

It provides high-accuracy, high spatial-temporal resolution measurements of low-level atmospheric winds, delivering low-level wind profile and wind shear data products for meteorological support during aircraft takeoff and landing.

The system supports full azimuth and elevation scanning, enabling early warning detection of low-level wind shear, downbursts, and wake vortices that aircraft may encounter during approach, thereby helping air traffic control and meteorological departments improve airport flight safety and operational efficiency.
