Product Overview
All solid-state Ka-band cloud profiler is a cloud profiling instrument. Operating in a zenith vertical sounding mode, it measures cloud top height, cloud base height, cloud amount, cloud vertical profile, vertical velocity, and other parameters up to 15 km in altitude, enabling continuous monitoring of cloud and precipitation evolution. This instrument fills a critical gap in China's domestic capability for millimeter-wave vertical cloud sensing and is widely deployed by meteorological and weather modification agencies for weather monitoring in key areas such as airports and regions prone to severe weather.
