Guo Qingjie – Continuously learn, constantly improve yourself

"The sword's sharp edge emerges from relentless sharpening, and the plum blossom's fragrance blossoms only after enduring bitter cold." This is a verse that Guo Qingjie deeply cherishes—much like her own journey of growth. She joined Huateng in 2014, starting with the most fundamental tasks such as component placement and soldering. Today, she independently oversees the management of the company’s electronics assembly team within the Product Department.

Looking back, she said: "Our company is known for having a wide variety of product models, high technological content, and small production volumes—often resulting in incomplete work instructions when we start manufacturing. These situations really put our capabilities to the test. Whenever I encounter this kind of challenge, I immediately reach out to our R&D team for discussion, and then I create detailed assembly flowcharts. Through this process, I’ve not only learned CAD drafting but also gained a deep understanding of the product’s underlying manufacturing principles, enabling me to grasp both *what* is happening and *why*. It’s precisely these invaluable experiences that allow me to better guide my team members and ultimately boost our group’s overall efficiency."

In the "Strengthening Weaknesses Phase I" project, the transceiver module for the "D Platform" radar is currently the longest in terms of production lead time and the most complex in assembly process among the company's mass-produced components. Moreover, since development and manufacturing are conducted simultaneously, the production line frequently encounters rework situations. By mid-April, 14 finished transceiver modules had already been produced and were nearing completion—just when Guo Qingjie once again received a rework notice, requiring changes to both the semi-steel and the overall cable design. This batch of modules, which has already undergone three rounds of rework, now needs to be disassembled and reassembled yet again. As a result, nearly half a month of continuous overtime efforts to meet the deadline has essentially been undone, leaving everyone physically and mentally exhausted.

As the team leader, Guo Qingjie keenly noticed the shift in everyone's emotions. She encouraged them, saying, "Challenges are temporary—let's stay committed to our customers and take full responsibility for our products. After all, every single unit of these products has passed through our hands. When we deliver them to our clients, it’s like sending off our own daughters into marriage." Inspired by her words and energized by her leadership, the team recharged and threw themselves back into their work with renewed enthusiasm. Meanwhile, she collaborated closely with the R&D team, carefully reviewing and finalizing the design change plan. To ensure both efficiency and quality, she suggested first assembling two prototype sets for rigorous testing and validation. Once those prototypes met the required standards, she immediately rallied the team to kick off mass production—laying a solid foundation for the next critical steps: assembling and fine-tuning the complete radar systems.
