Huateng Microwave Provides Meteorological Support for the 100th Anniversary Celebration in Xibaipo, the "Red Holy Land" Committed to building a great, enduring legacy for the Chinese nation—this year marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China, a milestone achieved with youthful vigor and vitality. As the hands of history turn to July 1, 2021, we celebrate the Party's century-long journey. Meanwhile, Xibaipo, revered as the "Red Holy Land," has been beautifully rejuvenated, ready to mark this momentous occasion by paying tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Nestled at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains along the banks of the Hutuo River, Xibaipo once served as the headquarters of the Central Committee of the CPC. It was here that the Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao personally directed the Liaoshen, Huaihai, and Pingjin campaigns, convened the historic Seventh Plenary Session of the Second Central Committee, and held the National Land Conference—all pivotal moments that ultimately led to the liberation of all of China. As a result, Xibaipo holds a unique place in the annals of China's revolutionary history, famously known as "China's destiny was decided in this village" and "New China rose from here." ![Figure 1: Scene from the Xibaipo celebration event] At this year's centennial celebration in Xibaipo, our company's independently developed mobile integrated observation system made its debut on-site. Equipped with an all-in-one six-element automatic weather station, a solid-state X-band dual-polarization Doppler weather radar, a wind-profile laser radar, and an atmospheric electric field meter, the system conducts real-time observations, capturing meteorological data and visual imagery from the vehicle-mounted platform. The steadfast vigil on Jiamashan Mountain

To enhance disaster weather monitoring capabilities and short-term forecasting accuracy in the Tibet region, and to better serve local economic development, the Tibet Autonomous Region Meteorological Bureau has selected our company’s all-solid-state X-band Doppler weather radar for site deployment. All radar stations under this project are located at altitudes above 4,600 meters, with the Jarma Mountain radar station in Motuo Gongka County standing at an even higher elevation of 5,474 meters. In such harsh environmental conditions, construction and installation pose extremely high challenges, presenting a significant test of our products’ performance.

The Tibet Weather Radar Monitoring and Early Warning System Successfully Passes Acceptance Test

On June 11, 2020, the "Lhasa Weather Radar System Construction" project, organized by the Tibet Autonomous Region Meteorological Bureau, successfully passed its operational acceptance. Attendees included representatives from the Tibet Autonomous Region Meteorological Bureau, the Aviation Meteorological Office of the Civil Aviation Administration of Tibet, Xi'an Huateng Microwave Co., Ltd., and relevant departments.

Huateng Millimeter-Wave Cloud Radar Supports Meteorological Observations at the Two Sessions

To ensure the quality of weather observations during the "Two Sessions" and to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of observational data, the Base Office of the Meteorological Observation Center under the China Meteorological Administration recently formed a millimeter-wave cloud radar calibration team together with our company's technical support engineers. This team has begun calibrating the millimeter-wave cloud radars at seven observation stations across the Beijing area.
